CARS AND COFFEE IN OAKDALE, SEPTEMBER 19, 2026

This was our final show of the season, at our new location at the Los Capitanes Restaurant at 156 S Maag Ave, Oakdale, in the Save Mart parking lot.  We had a great turnout with many of the usual suspects, but also a large crop of first-timers.  It was great meeting everyone new and seeing some old friends.  And of course, we love looking at those cars!  And the energy was fantastic!  The weather was perfect and everyone was in a great mood.  Let the pictures speak for themselves.

ABOVE: This super-clean '55 210 sedan is for sale for $39K.  You couldn't build one for anywhere near that.  Thanks for bringing it, Brian.

BELOW: That's my (Andy) discreet 2005 Mustang GT.  It's like a spy-car because no one ever notices it.  Cops either!

ABOVE: In her own words, this 1959 GMC longbed pickup is Sally's 'grocery-getter'.

BELOW: This is one of THE most powerful cars on the planet.  Steven's 2023 Dodge Challenger Demon 170 makes 850hp on pump gas and over 1,000 on E-85!!  Holy crap, Batman!

ABOVE: Look closely at this '62 Chevy Nova 4-door wagon and you begin to notice things.  Like the tubbed rear end with monstrous drag slicks and skinnies up front, and of course a fully built engine. This thing means business!

BELOW: Mark's '64 Oldsmobile convertible is getting to be a regular at our shows. We love it.

At the conclusion of the Cars and Coffee in Oakdale, September 19, 2026 was got a small group of fellow car nuts together and we drove up the hill from Oakdale to Knights Ferry.  It's about a 15-minute drive and our destination was the 50's Roadhouse restaurant.  10 cars went, including my own, we had a great drive up, and a fine lunch of mostly burgers.

As mentioned before, this was our final Cars & Coffee event of the season. We'll be back in March at the same location on the 3rd Saturday of each month.  And we hope to expand our reach and start up a second Cars & Coffee event each month, hopefully in Riverbank.  If anyone knows a good location in Riverbank, let me know.
