CARS & CHROME AT THE SILOS, Modesto CA Another one of Jim Nolan's 209 Hot Rod Events. This was huge! 300 cars +. What a great venue for a car show. The Silos provided food and drink also. |

CARS & PIZZA (formerly 'Pizza & Beer'), Mountain Mike's Pizza, Oakdale FRIDAY, OCTOBER 9, 2026 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm This was our first-ever evening event and it went great. We had about 20 attendees and about 13 cars. We had some excellent Mountain Mike's pizza, and beer or whatever, and after that we had a Dollar Raffle with lots of cool prizes to choose from. Several folks commented on how much fun it was. Most were from Oakdale so it was super convenient for them. But, we had one guy come all the way from Tracy. That's devotion. Thank you to you all for your interest and participation. We'll be doing it again next month on the 2nd Friday evening. We'll announce it formally and maybe even relocate. We filled up the room at Mountain Mikes the first night. |

CARS & COFFEE IN OAKDALE, Los Capitanes Restaurant Our final Cars & Coffee event of the season, we went out with a bang! Great show, great cars, great people. And after the show we cruised up the hill to Knights Ferry to have lunch at the 50's Roadhouse. Great fun. |
 |
6th Annual Street Dreams Car Show, Downtown Tracy What a great show! Several of us Valley Classics members went and had a blast. The closed Downtown Tracy to host about 200 cars + a street fair + a farmers market. But hey, all we care about is the cars, right? You've gotta' see this. Some of them were incredible. |
 |
NEW LOCATION: Los Capitanes Restaurant, 156 S, Maag Ave, Oakdale We lost our prior location at the old Rite Aid just 5 days before this show. We had to scramble to find a new place, but boy did we ever! Get the whole story here. And join us there next month. |

GRAFITTI CLASSIC CAR SHOW 2026 at McHenry Village, Modesto This show really kicks off "Grafitti Summer" in Modesto, a county-wide celebration of "American Grafitti" the movie, and Central Valley car culture as a whole. This was a fantastic show with 600 cars and loads of trophies. And Valley Classics was there. |
 |
CARS & COFFEE IN OAKDALE, at the old Rite Aid, 1300 W. F Street This was Valley Classic's second Cars & Coffee event and it was a resounding success. Despite the Rods-to-Rails cars how up the hill in Jamestown, we got 29 cars, an increase over last month. And we welcomed 5 new members into the club. Bringing new people into Valley Classics Car Club is one of the reasons we do these events. The other is that we love doing them. If you're not already a member, please consider it. You can apply right here on this site. This was the first time we awarded a trophy for Peoples' Choice and what a hit that was! Everyone loved voting and hoping their car would win. A wicked yellow '52 Chevy, built to the hilt, owned by Tony, was our winner this month. Congrats to Tony. Every one had a great time and we got to see some awesome iron. |

CARS & COFFEE IN OAKDALE, at the old Rite Aid at 1300 W. F St., Oakdale This was Valley Classics' first club event and it went swimmingly. 25 cars showed up, which is good for a first showing. And there was a car show 20 miles up the road in Knights Ferry. So, we're very happy with the turn-out. And not just the cars, but the people. In the end, it's always about the people. We made some new friends, and renewed old friendships. Nice little show. Check out the pics. And don't miss our next one, on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at the same location. Count on a Cars & Coffee every 3rd Saturday through the rest of the season. |
