Cars and Coffee in Oakdale

Valley Classics Car Club held our 3rd Cars and Coffee in Oakdale, June 20, 2026. While we were up against stiff competition from other local car shows (it's the season) we had a good turnout, some fantastic cars, and some great people. We had a total of 26 cars this time, and most importantly, we had a great time. That's what all this is about, after all. Having a good time with your car around other like-minded car people with their cars, each a unique vision of what the ultimate ride is.

ABOVE: My good buddy Kirt showed up with his awesome '64 Falcon Futura fresh off the shelf fully restored with new everything. Kirt is one of my friends from ancient times, in my Hanford days.
BELOW: Another Hanford friend surprised me and showed up in his incredible 2023 C8 Corvette. It was great seeing him again, it's been a while. Paul is my oldest friend, not that he is the oldest, but I've been friends with him longer than anyone else in my life. Paul is on the left and I (Andy) am on the right.
...and nice people.
And of course, the Mopar Mafia showed up in force. Left-to-right, they are a 2023 Dodge Challenger Demon 170 (850+ hp) owned by Stephen, a 2018 Challenger R/T belonging to Tony, Mark's 1971 Challenger and a new addition to our Mopar lineup, Jim's 2014 Viper.
As is our tradition now, we awarded another trophy at Cars and Coffee in Oakdale, June 20, 2026 for the Peoples' Choice Award. Spectators and participants alike eyed the cars carefully and judged for themselves which ones caught their eye. Our voting ballots have room for 2 picks. Why? Because anyone with a car in the show will always vote for his own car. I did also. But we wanted to get past that and into the real, unbiased picks, so everyone got two picks. We also encourage kids who are there with their parents to vote and they are always thrilled.
Our winner at this month's Cars and Coffee in Oakdale, June 20, 2026 was Rick with his fantastic 1955 Chevy Bel Air. Congratulations to Rick and thanks for bringing this awesome car out.
We have these Cars and Coffee in Oakdale events every 3rd Saturday from 8am to 11am and always at the same location, the old Rite Aid Pharmacy at 1300 W. F Street, in Oakdale. Count on it. Don't miss it. And bring your car.
